Course overview:
This course is designed to provide teachers with practical and effective tools that promote emotional well-being for both themselves and their students. Through the introduction to practices such as bodyfulness, mindfulness, and meditation, participants will learn how to integrate these techniques into their daily lives and classrooms. This will foster a more harmonious and respectful environment, preventing conflicts, promoting equality, and creating spaces with greater empathy. At the same time, it will contribute to cultivating inner calm, emotional balance, stress management, and overall well-being.
We will combine somatic movement techniques, body awareness, and meditation in a dynamic, creative, and relational way through the practice of Bodyfulness. This innovative discipline focuses on the deep connection between body and mind. Movement is carried out with a respectful approach to oneself, promoting physical, psychological, and emotional well-being through awareness of sensations, patterns, and emotions. At its core, Bodyfulness seeks to rediscover the value of conscious movement as a source of health and well-being.
Various mindfulness activities and games will be explored, allowing participants to experience firsthand the benefits of these practices. Additionally, there will be a deeper focus on emotional intelligence and the importance of being aware of our bodies through body awareness exercises. Breathing, concentration, and meditation techniques will also be taught, detailing how to apply them in the classroom to create a more peaceful and productive environment.
By the end of the course, teachers will have a set of practical tools they can use both in their personal lives and in their educational work, supporting the emotional and social development of their students.
Methodology:
The course methodology is based on a comprehensive and dynamic approach, combining mindfulness and bodyfulness practices with meditation techniques.
